My Campaign Poster

Now that my campaign for governor is picking up speed, I thought it might be wise to provide the media with a photo to be used for articles and television reports. My staff and I naturally chose the most flattering one in my collection, because I'm the kind of guy who understands the importance of putting forth a professional image, especially when dealing with such a serious matter as running for governor.

Just a quick note: kudos to The Girlfriend for providing the campaign slogan!

First of all, why would I pander to Sparta and diss Detroit? That seems highly illogical. Of course, this is a campaign based on stupidity, so that actually would make sense in a weird kind of way. Man, this could be complicated. I might be the only candidate in history to lose an election by being too intelligent:

"Whoops! I successfully tied my shoe in public! Hope the cameras weren't watching!"

Besides, can you really look at that poster and say honestly that you don't think:

1.) I can bring jobs to Michigan
2.) I can make this state the envy of the country and
3.) I am the victim of some weird lab experiment. (Want a reason to vote against cloning?)

Exactly, FD'sFD. I'm making a subliminal play for the long-haired musician vote.

Finally! A gubernatorial candidate who looks worse than Dick DeVos and Geoffery Fieger!

I'm hoping for the sympathy vote.
